Hey all, Does anyone know where i can get the specs for the old single cylinder in a '71 Sears SS12? Ideally I would like a manual but really what i need now is the torque specs for the engine.

I'm pretty sure your ss12 has a Tecumseh engine. If it does you can find the service manual here http://www.searstractormanuals.com/firefox.htm

Once you get to the page, scroll in the top left corner (where it says "home") until you see "engine/ trans"

Then in the lower left window, scroll until you see "Tecumseh tech handbook 8 to 18." It is a pdf file. You either view or save.
