Sears Scoop in Canada

1188 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  bamataco
Hello everyone,

I'm trying to get a Craftsman scoop up in Canada, I tried calling Sears /w the part number and a description, but the lady looked for we'll say 10 minutes and couldn't find anything. Also maybe weights?

I've seen some people in the forum in Canada that have them, any advice from you guys?

Thanks.

Do you mean a loader?
Do you mean a loader?
I guess you could call it that :) What I mean is viewable here:

The lady at sears was unable to find any attachments. I gave them parts numbered 24847, 486.24847 (http://www.craftsmanlawn.com/Mower-Tractor-Add-ons/486.24847/). She listed quiet a few attachments, but none straying from the scrapers, rakes, dump trailers, etc. that I already can see on their website. My assumption would have been that since Sears in the US could get it, that Sears Canada wouldn't have a problem :Disgus:.

I suppose it is possible for me to get a Johnny, but that's $300 just to ship to Canada, let alone buy the part itself. It may still be an avenue, but it's not the first one I'd like to pursue. I'd sooner really drive down to Buffalo and pick one up there and drag it across the border.

I'm in B.C. and I didn't know that loader was available in Canada or USA. What an eye opener for me - lots of good reviews about it, too. I'm gonna keep my ear to the ground for a used one ;-)
:congrats:
I think that what's likely going to happen is me driving to the US to get it. We'll see how that turns out. I've never gone across the border by car before. First time for everything I suppose.
Just for the heck of it I would try calling Sears again. Maybe you will get a differant person and they will have better luck finding what you want.
