HI Can anyone help me find the S# for my 1980-81 LT10 36?

I see a silver label on the rear deck but nothing is on it.

Or can someone offer up their S# so i can order a blade belt or just give me a part number for a blade belt that will work?

I have looked everywhere i can on the machine for the number.

These machines cant be that different but sears will not ship me anyything without a part number or S#.

Hi Thanks for the response but that manual seems to be for a much newer machine.

Attached is what my machine looks like.

The model number is 917.255274 but i dont think sears will accept that alone.

They kept insisting on a serial number...

Using your model number, here is what I found a searspartsdirect:

You should be able to look up your belt there. However, I took the liberty of looking up the deck drive belt:

That should get you the information that you need.

Turns out it's a 1/2" x 69" belt, Kevlar.
