Can anyone help me out with this tractor. It has an 18hp motor in it and runs like a top.The deck lost a spindel and I need to find a new one. The deck says model number 502 253622. Is this thing worth saving? I have the plow for it and would like to fix the deck. I am a total noob at this tractor thing. All I know is this tractor is ten times the tractor my Noma is. Would also like to put some ag tires on it.

Just checked and they don't have all the parts I need. The center spindle is wasted. I need the whole assembly.

I'd recommend looking at the junkyards of mower shops. Some don't even have a good grasp on what they have. Take the old spindle with you.

In my opinion, keep your Noma for mowing and use the Sears for the "grunt" work!

That paticular Sears Tractor above is one of a Few Made By Murray For Sears. Here is a link were you might be able to get parts for it. http://www.outdoordistributors.com/. Sears only supports most machine for 7 years with parts unless the same parts are used on a newer model. But that design stayed with murray through most of the 80's :thThumbsU
