Great story, and photos to explain the work you did. Got a cab with my 6216 Simplicity, and "polished" the windows by hand. Like your method better. But cleaned up well and is in use this winter. DO like a frost free face. One addition I made was to mount a 4" 12V computer fan to the front bracket to help keep the front window clean. Works well, and a good $10 investment. Now you may never want to come in from the cold.....
