I used to have a Craftsman saw. Now I have a Rockwell. As you may know, the Craftsman has a saw blade that tilts to the left, away from thre fence. The Rockwell tilts to the right. It creeps me out that wood is trapped between the fence and blade when it is tilted. Should I switch the fence guides to the left and saw on the right side of the fence?

A right-tilt is the standard design for a saw. I understand that a lot of people like left-tilt but I think it's more of a preference rather than a true safety risk.

Doesn't your fence allow you to pick it up and move it to the left of the blade?
