Would like to rebuild the steering system on my S14H. Anybody got a source for cheap parts or rebuilt units?

Also need a source for Ariens orange paint.

do you need the gear box?

Don't exactly know what I need. There is a lot of play in the steering and was looking to find parts and info. I suppose the gear box would have to be replaced to eliminate the slack--correct?

The steering gears are adjustable plus most likely its never been greased if the wire screen is still on the bottom of the frame.Doing both will make it steer much better

Thank you for the information. I'll adjust the steering see if the slop can be removed before I do anything else.
