Came up sevens! I was looking on ebay and found a spool valve listed for a 1541 for $23, $30 after shipping with a pic of a 3000 valve. Got here today and is a 3000 valve which are getting more and more expensive. Today I was the bowling ball, tomorrow I may be the pins.

Great deal Randy. Also saw that big *** lift cylinder in your other post, nice. I also ran into a great deal locally this summer on some spool valves. Got the two aux valves, handles, and lines for $65.00. Don't have a need for them right now but couldn't pass on the deal.
Man you got an awesome deal. I had a vendor price that same setup at $275 right after I was checking on auxillary valves to set up my 3240. I ended up buying 2 valves off ebay for $40 each shipped with handles and brackets.

I cut and welded the deck lift handles to make them fit the other slots in the cupholder rather than buy separate aux handles.

Lol, everytime I see that cylinder I'm shocked at its size. Here it is next to a steering cylinder ith one of the 1" pins next to it. Thing is insane. My lift setup will be similar to this. https://www.mytractorforum.com/119-home-made-tractors-implements-accessories/131383-front-scoop.html

That FEL looks like a nice setup and I have the parts for two hydraulic ports.

You both got some great deals especially the one ejl6658 mentioned.

I have found fairly good deals on spool valves, but have never been able to find a deal even remotely close to that. The price most are asking for just the aux lines is WAY more than that..

I also bought a front hitch with lift and angle cylinders off the same guy for $50.00. He had recently sold a 45" snowblower that he said was like new for $200.00. Lost his job and was in need of some cash.

Made out like a bandit on some ballast weights today. $50 for 437.5 lbs of iron plates. I picked up 300lb for $30 awhile back. This should ballast the 3240 pretty well when I get my bucket up and running.

WOW! I have been trying to buy Cast Iron Barbell Weights to use as ballast for a couple years now, but I have only been able to find a few for decent prices(decent, but way more than you paid)

Where were you able to find them for such great prices?

I got these off FB marketplace. Only reason they weren't gone in 10mins was that they were in Westville, OK. That's big time podunkville but 30mins from me.

The other ones were in a flea mkt that had just opened for business. Got a solid bar and weight bench with them.

I have done a bunch of searches on FB Marketplace near me, but have not found any deals approaching what you have found.

In the past(before I was wanting to buy them) I would occasionally find them at near give away prices at yard sales, but I have not found any over the past few years.

Just have to be patient and search daily. Wife and I hit thrift stores and flea mkts as well. Thrift stores and yard sales are where you will get stuff at giveaway prices. I did recently pass on several 10lb weights at a thrift for $4/ea.
