How i you reprogram keypad on my GT18HE tractor?
I was told how to do this about 15yrs ago
when i was working at a small engine shop
but i have long since forgotten
it had come in for repair and didnt have with the code
i think i just jumped it out lol
i have the code for this but want to change it

Is there another brand of GT that had that keypad? I can't find any info on it using Gilson.

Is that an "aftermarket" item? I've never seen a key pad feature, expecially for 15 YO mowers.

That's actually original. A friend of mine's dad has an old Gilson GT with the keypad. he said it didn't work anymore, and truthfully the tractor looked like it barely ran, if it did at all. but that keypad was on it..

it is factory
definately not common
only found on higher end gilson tractors in the 80's
like mine that has hydro tranny and lift and a back-up alarm???
i heard they had problems with them and most
were converted to a keyswitch

i actually like the tractor
got it for free from original owner
came with blade and a mower deck that i was told was only used about
1 season to maintain an apartment building
has only plowed since
doesnt look like much but it pushes snow just as good or better then
my gravely 816( and i'm a gravely man lol)
