Hi everyone, i want to replace an old ignition coil with a new electric ignition coil (398811) on my Briggs & Stratton engine (220707-0133).

Here you can see the old ignition coil:

I think I don't need the condenser anymore when using an electric ignition.
Can I just cut the wire between condensor and coil, remove the old coil and replace it with the new coil? What about the condensor and other parts? If I don't need it anymore I can remove it too?

Leave the points and condenser in place, just cut the wire. If you remove the points you will need to plug the plunger hole
