Hello. I have a 198_ JD 400 loader (no backhoe). The main pump is leaking like a sieve. Local shop says a new pump is $1,900 or they can rebuild the old pump for $1,000. They can't find a source for rebuilt/reman pump. Any sources out there?

You could try salvage yards, they may have a good used one. Also this company:

claims to have a new aftermarket pump that replaces part #AR103033 and #AR103036. They don't have prices on their website(that I could find) but I have a 2005 catalog from them and their list price was 795.00.
