How do I remove the hood ornament on my b100? De-trimming before paint is better than masking everything!

Anyways, there's a couple of round clips on the underside of the hood, I've never dealt with those before, so I'm asking before I break something.

The CC narrow frame in the background is a 149 I saved from the scrapper. I've decided it's better to part that out than o restore.
