I may be missing something here, but I've just noticed that on my Ford 100 with K241 engine the shrouds are bolted in place using the same bolts that hold the cylinder head in place. So, if I remove the shrouds to clean the fins, I will end up removing some of the bolts. It seems a bit dangerous to remove half the bolts holding the cyl head.

Am I missing something or is this how you all are doing it?

I say that’s the right way to have them. Maybe the bolts I have were changed at some point by a previous owner. I should look for bolts like yours. Makes it safer to clean without messing with the cylinder head. Thanks for the photo.
