I have run them both. The broadmore has a better transmission and if you have hill you may want to consider that. I cant comment on the 4212. My broadmore is now 11 years old with almost zero troubles. I had a couple of minor issues but that is it. Nothing major at all.
regent vs. broadmoor
witch is better? how do they compare to my 4212 hydro. i'm looking at a regent 12.5 hydro 36" deck. pros and cons?

Congrats and Im just amazed how hp has gone up over the years. IN 99 I bought mine and it was a 14 hp with a 38 inch deck and now they are like 18 or 20 hp for the same size. WTF???:ROF My 14 has plenty of power and I honestly have never ever have wished for more. Why all the power these days??bought a broadmoor with a 20hp 44"deck with the turbo and bagger
Is it marketing or what??? Simplicity does not need to market power they have such a good cut to those in the know. Otherwise, are they trying to keep up with the Deeres of the world? Its just amazing to me where we have gone. My 707 had 7 hp and cut like a champ but I do admit it was slower. But, it would do the job.
Jeez, I guess next we will have big block 35 horse Vanguards on our mowers. LOL.
