Well, it's been over 4 years and the tractor still runs great. I have the 18 hp Kohler. Not sure what's happening in the Simplicity world, but I think I have the last year made in Wisconisin

Make sure that the hydro tranny casing is nice and clean and there's no gunk between the cooling fins on it. Heat in your hydro is your #1 enemy on this tractor...IMO.
