Have two wires sticking out from under the shroud of an electric start Briggs 11 h.p. The guy I got it from cut them off with only about two inches sticking out. What are they used for? I'm not finding info on them (or not looking hard enough). I want to eventually stick this on my Snapper 30" rer.

Probably for the charging system. Take tins off and bet they go the Stator.

I would expect one was to kill the ignition, and the other was charging system output. The manuals are available here or from the Briggs site, I believe, and they would be a more definitive source.
