Remember seeing some thread on here, but I cannot find them anywhere, so I thought I would start one for my project here to get some ideas.
I found a guy selling some 100lb. weights from a John Deere on Craigs list, hes not far from my house too, so I'm going to go by and check them out.
He says they are around 18" square, which sounds about right. I figure I would make a deal for atleast 6 of them, then buy me some snow chains, and I would be set for winter time snow removal.
Can you guys who made your own weight brackets post up some pictures to give me some ideas of their construction please? I know its a fairly simple set up and design, but I want to be creative if I can.
:wwp:
My tractor is already set up with the pins, and holes for the quick attachments such as my #33 rear tiller, so planning on hopefully using those as the fixture points.
You think 600 lbs of rear weight would be good? Then I would have my 54" dual hydraulic blade on the front for that weight...what ever that sucker weighs...I should have enough weight I think. Might get away with not needing wheel weights, and filling my tires with liquid windshield washer fluid.
:thanku:
