Radiator flush help.

This weekend I plan to pull the radiator out of the 332 that I just bought and try to get as much junk and minerals out of it as possible. Is there a good product to use to dissolve the mineral deposits, or do I need to take it to a professional shop to get it cleaned? The radiator itself works fine, I just would feel better by getting it cleaned up. I wouldn't mind soaking it in a tub for a couple hours or all day and if it also took the paint off that would be a bonus. Then I could completely repaint it. Thanks.

I beleive any auto store will sell a good radiator flush .be sure to rinse it according to the instructions on the bottle, leave the radiator in the unit and flush the whole cooling system .....otherwsie you've only done half the job....once cleaned use a good antifreeze and distilled water to avoid the mineral issue all together ......disimilar metals also can react with water and anitfreeze ,your owners manual, may tell you what type of antifreeze is required....Good Luck,Jim

Thanks, I will check it out. I just wasn't sure if there was a product that worked better than any others.
