Question on model 8271

From what I can tell this is a s/p promo.

Can someone that is familiar with the options of these models explain
why this 8271 shroud (assuming its a promo) has the mulch-r-catch
style striping on the ends of the front decal? I have never seen this type on a yellow top.

So is there 2 different types of decal styles for the promo?

Ah I see, good info.

Was the mulch-r-catch model a steel deck as well?

I always thought steel decks didnt come around till somewhere in the 90's-2000's.
