Can you take it off and on with relative ease?

There are times when I'd like to have a mulching kit to keep the grass from flying on things, but if it's a pain to switch back and forth I don't know if it would be worth it.

Thanks

I have mulch kit on the 42" deck of my GT225. I hated to spend the money for it, but that was about three years ago now, and I'm not sorry I bought it. I didn't get it to mow grass, but to mulch leaves. So I cannot comment on how is does on grass. It does a pretty good job on leaves.

So that means every fall I have to put in on, and every spring take it off. Taking it off is easy. Putting it on is a bit harder. But as a I am doing that: I clean the deck, grease the spindles, and change and sharpen the blades; so the time is well spent.

Its not that bad of a thing to do -- A pair of car ramps certainly makes it a bit easier to gain access under the deck. Probably the hardest part is sliding the plug in/out past the blades, but they are pretty easy to rotate out of the way when needed.
