have a 98 troybilt 26HP with electric PTO,problem is,when i engage PTO & relese brake,i lose ignition. Replaced saftey switch,could it be PTO switch? any ideas?
sounds like a bad safety to me. could be the brake, the reverse or the seat. i would check the reverse safety first, either of the others would likely kill it right off.
