It looks to me like your old clutch has the shaft bearing out of it . I had this problem and finaly realized that the sleave was still on my crank shaft:banghead3. If that makes sence. What I am trying to say is you dont have all the clutch ***. off the crank shaft yet. Hope this helps. Let us know what you find out !!!
PTO problem
Hi all,
my pto went on me on my YTH1542. I found the same model # pto on ebay and purchased it. They are exactly the same except for the new one came with a sleeve attached to the clutch. Is there anyway to take that sleeve off, because it wont fit w/ it on. In the pic the one on the right is the one that came off the tractor... Thanks, Matt
