Yesterday I attended a Green Energy Convention in Frederick, MD and Thompson Gas had a propane weed eater on display.

Has anyone ever seen one of these before? Ever used one?

They are pretty neat, and quieter than their gas/oil counterparts.

I think the one I saw was branded Echo, but I didn't look closely. It does resemble the picture from Jesemd.

Aside from a price tag of just over 200 bucks, it looks like a serious competitor to the 2cycle and 4cycle models. Kinda cool how a cylinder of propane will last several hours compared to a tank usually lasting perhaps an hour? Also burns A LOT cleaner than their fossil fuel (ironic name) counterparts.

To my knowledge, what I saw ONLY runs on propane.
