Try unplugging all the QD's, wipe them clean then reconnect them.
thanks for the help. but i had John deere come and pick it up to take a look at it. its still under warrenty. i only put 30hrs on it.
OK, please let us know the outcome as it may help someone in the future.
so far they found rust in the hydraulic filter.
Hmm...there is a DTAC on that issue (water in the hydraulic fluid), and a kit should have been mailed to you with a new fill cap, and a baseball hat as well.

One such thread on the GTT forum (didn't see it mentioned here on MTF):

well that explains why the 1026r's have been discontinued.

No sir, not at all. It is now rebadged the 1025r and mysteriously derated to just under 25 horsepower to meet EPA TIER 4 requirements. Virtually the identical machine except for the stickers. Long thread on that on GTT as well.
If you push the lever all the way the hydraulics go into float mode

If you halfway apply downward arm pressure you should remain in pressure mode and the arms apply downward force to lift the front wheels off of the ground

All the way foward lever just drops the bucket to the ground
yea. i tryed that after reading the manual, but it still didint work right. the JD dealer i got it from has it now and its going on 3 weeks. they said they orderd a new filter and that one had rust in it. so they got another new one and that one had rust in it. so now they orderd a 3rd one and there waiting for. i bet it has rust in it.

I know what you mean about the dealerships, some are there for nothing more then sucking up you money, the ones that have survived here in WNC or the upstate are horrible, but always find reasons to **** ya off.
Two of the BEST here in WNC have closed down over the last years and we are stuck with the ones who charge list plus some just because! You think they would cater to those who buy everything JD but I figure they just don't have to.
You should just locate a filter from another dealer and just bring it to them!!!:goodl:

Ummmm there were no curse words in this post. just wanted to let ya know is all.

its still under warrenty, so no money out of my pocket. i made sure of that before i had them pick it up. plus i got the $10 a month insuracne on it.
I rented one of these for the weekend. Worked fine until I parked it, drove my truck and trailer up to it to load her up and all of a sudden, the bucket won't go up higher than maybe 2-3 feet.

And the bucket goes down but won't lift the front tires up with the down pressure.

What gives?

Broken relief valve spring. Roll the bucket back and drive it on with the valve in the lift position after the bucket contacts the trailer.
