My step daddy has a JD 750 that he purchased new. 4WD with manual steering, front end loader and three pt hitch. It was purchased with manual steering because he was told that the per str package took away from the other hydraulics. All well and good
Well, now he’s 91 and has all he can do to get on the tractor, let alone steer it!!! I looked at a kit (OEM) that I can get for around $550 +/-
My question is have they made any improvements over the years to make it co- exist with the main hydraulics
I don’t see his reasoning for not getting it in the first place, I mean , you’re not gonna be doing any hi speed maneuvering when using
the bucket, and just how fast does the TPH have to go up and down, smh!
Seems like a fairly easy install... any thoughts

Hi had power steering put on my tractor when I bought it in 1985. I really like it and have no problems with it. I don't notice it takes away from the regular hydraulics of he tractor. The only problem I've had is with the front PTO electric clutch. There is a company that might make a replacement clutch but they need the make, model and SSN from the plate on the tractor. Do you know where that plate is? Thanks.

I added PS to an old Cub Cadet 1811 because I loved the tractor but hated the steering with the loader on it. It was worth every penny and the only time there is a hydraulic conflict is when driving or backing up and running the loader at the same time. The loader will be a bit slower for a few seconds at the most and that's all. Get it! At 91 he deserves all he can get!!!!!!
