was rotary plowing for first time today with my C8 and was tearing ground up great after about 30 minutes of plowing the plow starting bogging and stopping ground was hard has not been worked in quite a while is this normal or do i have a problem?
Remove the plow from the tractor and try adjusting the slip clutch springs per the manual. If that doesn't work, you'll probably need new friction disks (2 of those, I think).
I agree with John. Try adjusting the slip clutch first.
If you haven't found them or been told yet, the manuals for anything Gravely are available free of charge from the Gravely Tractor Club of America here:
hopefully the attachment was the only thing slowing down to a halt. That's a 10 minute inconvenience. If the travel speed (wheel rotation) slowed down as well, your hi/low planetary clutch(s) needs adjustment or replacement. Check the slip clutch like stated above.
