For those that are using their tractor and snow plow on gravel driveways, who has added a pipe to the bottom to prevent digging in? What material and how added??

Pics would be a plus too!!

2" pvc plumbers drain pipe, the same length as your plow is wide, cut a slit in it length wise and slide it on the bottom of your plow. Sorry don't have any pictures.

Will the plow raise or ride up the snow as its being pushed? I have a small gravel area at the end of the driveway that I have to plow, and this looks like a solution to a problem if it works good. Thanks for the pic.

It will not scrape the ground clean with the pipe on the blade.It will keep the blade from digging into the loose gravel, after the gravel is all frozen in place ,slide the pipe off.

Thanks guys, I just happen to have some sch 40 pipe lying around!!! Looks like a great way to help keep the gravel ON the driveway!!
