I have a couple of questions... first, is a front engine tractor with factory pull start and no electric start or electrical system a "rare" tractor? second, is the tractor in the pics made in 1968? and third, is it possiable to convert a points type briggs engine to an automotive style 12 volt coil?

Kinda funny you posted that. I was looking around on EBAY yesterday and found one. Not anywhere near me tho.

Yes I believe that is a 1968. Post the numbers off of the engine should start with 68.

Pretty cool little tractor I like that style. I believe the electric start models are more rare, they they also had headlights.

But the pull start models I think actually looked better.

Heres a 1968 elec start model.
