I picked these up about a month ago at a auction. I was hoping they would slide into the rim but they don't. They are Redlandhill 4150 http://www.redlandhill.com/weights.html 70 lbs. each. What do you think little ugly.
I'm thinking i need a second coat hanger and a couple pieces bubble gum to secure them. :thThumbsU

Drill a coupler of holes where you need them. Throw on some JD Yellow and your good to go with those.
:ditto: Some bolts, some paint and you are good to go. :thThumbsU

if you can get them on, I think they look just fine!

got to be a tough one drilling 8 holes through those though... I am assuming they are solid 3-4" steel??

if you got the drill, I am sure you can make them work well...

Thanks everyone, I never cared for the weight sticking out look, But these are starting to grow on me.
The mounting holes line up fine. No need to drill new holes.
I think if i clean them up and spray some JD yellow I'll be happy with them.

They look fine. Painted yellow the distance out will be less noticeable. I imagine it's hard to get 70# without getting out from the rim, that's a lot of weight. Congrats on the good find.:fing32:

Had a chance to clean up and add couple coats of JD yellow paint. Went form kinda ugly to kinda pretty in no time. Just need to pickup some hardware.
