Wow ! Great buy on that setup. Are you going to get it running before you sell it ? You could really come out ahead if just needs a new carb and good cleanup.
It came with the intact upper hood, the lower hood has a hole missing though. That's quite a hole in the hood leaning up against the tree? Unbelievable it's still intact with a hole that size.
Did you just buy that new hood?
Not yet, just finished what I think is the final mow (and leaf cleanup) of the year over the weekend. I will probably get the cab mounted in the next week or so.Get anything done on the cab yet?
Looks great. I'd love to have that cab!!I got the cab mounted last night, had my brother give me a hand. How do some of you do it solo? Must have some sort of pulley system rigged up. Anyways, looking forward (sorta) to the white stuff.
I used to install and remove every season. I used a hoist mounted to the trusses in the garage and worked fairly well by myself, but I was always afraid of it falling.I got the cab mounted last night, had my brother give me a hand. I like the look of those aluminum doors. What'd that set you back on the fab work?Very nice. I have the same cab on my 425. Mine was missing the upper door glass and the steel doors had been badly bent and damages as well as the rear window missing. Did a repaint and had aluminum doors made and used lexan for the windows.
Craigslist. You need to look religiously to find the good deals. We're do you guys find these I'd love to find on a redo my tractor and put one on?
The doors were around 400 bucksI like the look of those aluminum doors. What'd that set you back on the fab work?
After parting out what I didnt want/need I ended up with the cab, a pair of jack stands, a set of metric impact sockets, 4 LED lights and wiring for the cab, and $200 cash. Not too shabby!Wow, $540, that is a deal!!
