Ok looked at two tractors and this one followed me home. 1987 318 with 1500 hrs on the onan. Runs perfect just needs a little TLC. pto wiring is shorted somewhere I believe at switch but jumped it at the clutch and it works fine. Motor is a little oily but nothing major. Mower deck has a broken lift arm( anyone have one to sell?) should make a nice machine once cleaned up and serviced.
If anyone has any used parts connection I will need a deck lift bar first off.

I misread your post and thought you said you didn't think that could be welded. I was going to say I have several the PO welded. I couldn't do it but several put a bar beside the break. Cut out to go over the rod and put a bar on both sides.

Check the motor mounts after you get the crud cleaned off the engine. The cast feet on the engine block will sometimes crack, had it happen on my 87 318.
