Seems to run good and mow fine. It's in nice shape and has always been stored inside. Even got all the books, manuals, and tire chains. I haven't looked into the starter problem yet.

I'm not sure why I needed it, I already have a Panzer I'm restoring, a Craftsman garden tractor, and an old Sears 14/6 sitting out back wanting attention.

But heck, you don't get much with $100 anymore... I didn't see how I could go too wrong buying it and it's one more reason why I need that big garage I want!

I even got the original receipt dated 1-2-1971, and reads as follows:

1- 577 Broadmoor Tractor 728 $675
1- 562 Snow Thrower $164
1- 422 36" Mower $145
1- 301 Tire Chains $ 15
1- 684 Light Kit $ 18

For a grand total of $1017.

Are attachments for older Simplicitiy's interchangable or are they pretty specific to each model?
