Got this R7070 off CL a few weeks ago. Not in too bad a shape; it ran when it got here, although it smoked like a freight train as the mixture screw was backed out too far. Has a new coil. Blade was wore down pretty far but I got one more sharpening out of it. Right front wheel has the rubber tread cracked straight across but it seems to stay in place on the rim during mowing. Anyone know where I can get a yellow wheel for it?
Deck is in good shape with a few scratches on the right rear. The mower cleaned up well over all; had to pull the carb off as it poured fuel out of the air cleaner as soon as you would shut it off. I found a piece of grass in the needle seat; problem solved. I did get a decal set for it, but I still need the DANGER sticker. Did I see on Partstree that you can still order it from LB? Only other thing missing is the yellow handle grip. Also, what do you guys think of the On/Off, primer, and fuel cap being white? I though they were black. My neighbor had one of these when I was a kid and I clearly remember that stuff being black like the starter handle. Fuel tank has the fade going on, too. Mower just runs like a top, though. :thThumbsU
