[GTP]

Got a few hours to knock out the last few mowers of the year. The JCPenny and a S21ZPN. Pics of the Penny rebuild in this thread..I honed it, new piston, rings, wrist pin, seals, flipped the reed plate..sealed it up after a good kerosene bath and wd40 blasts with compressed air @100 psi ..blade muffler bake etc, etc. This one went together easily.

Started and smootheed out well after 5 minutes. I love the Total Seal ring seat powder !! Great stuff. New compression 115 cold one pull-still needs to break in.!! :thThumbsU


On to the pics. The tank looks dingy in pics....but for some reason in person it looks very good. Hmmm.

LOL, I agree Mitch, from the back though they kinda look the the commercials from the mid 80's. Very good work you are doing there GTP.

Thanks Ron...the tank is very clean and green for some odd reason it deosn't photograph well in that light. Ah well....the new owner is chomping to get it.

I honestly have to say I never liked seeing a JC Penny ID on a Lawn-Boy mower. I remember way back seeing the first ones in the stores and being a hard core LB owner it sickened me.
To me it was akin to putting a Kmart emblem on the back of a Corvette... No way!

Its a beauty alright. Looks a helluva lot better than my old JC Lawnboy did, it was a steel decked four square with a 3.5 B&S...no kidding...my first Lawnboy way back when.
