Pedals won't push and can't free wheel

Not sure what I did, but neither the reverse or forward pedals will push in. When I try to push the tractor with the free wheeling rod pulled out it wont budge either. It's almost like the brakes are stuck on

Earlier I was sitting on the tractor and the freewheeling Rod was pulled all the way out. While sitting on the seat I reached behind me and pushed the freewheeling rod in and the tractor turned off. I guess it's since then that I haven't been able to move the tractor or push either the pedals on

Any ideas? Hoping I didn't break something

It sounds like something is out of place and thinigs are binding

Check the linkage for the forward/reverse pedals as well as the brake pedal. Follow them from the pedals back the the trans to make sure that nothing is interfering with their movement.

Do you have the front rockshaft installed for the front lift for the snow blower or plow? If so, check the linkage connecting the front rockshaft to the main rockshaft for the mower deck lift. I had that come disconnected at the front end and it dropped down and interfered with the steering linkage. I'm not sure what it might interfere with if the rear end came loose and dropped down.

Yes, I do have the front rockshaft installed for the front lift for the snow blower . I was in the process of removing the blower when this happened. I haven't been out there today, but I'll check on it as soon as I get out there, thanks a lot for the reply and the suggestion

I don't see any obstructions
I guess I'm gonna have to call for a service guy to come out

Are you sure you didnt inadvertantly engage the parking brake lock while you had your foot on the brake pedals?
I tried to ensure that the brake lock is pushed down, so off/disengaged. It definitely feels like that's what's going on. The brake must be stuck.
I very likely pulled it up when I hopped off to keep the engine running.
Does sound like it could be a combo of obstruction to brake pedal and the brake lock being stuck bc you have to push in the pedal to get the brake lock off

I'll try again tonight

Btw the blower is still on. I can't seem to tip it forward and off after disengaging the pins. That's why I was trying to move the tractor, to put the front 2 tires on a 2x4, which I've seen in videos make removing the blower easier

I'm a mess. Frustrating to be so incompetent ha

Jump on there, push down on the brakes and fiddle the lock lever up and down while fiddling the brake pedal. It probably is just stuck somewhat.
Have you tried turning the engine on again?

Sometimes bringing the hydro pressure back up sort of resets everything.
Thanks for the responses and encouraging me to try again.

I turned the engine back on and fiddled with the brake pedal and brake lock lever, but still was not unable to go forward or reverse.

I then hopped off and determinedly lifted the blower up off the front hitch. I also removed the front hitch.
I hopped back on the seat, turned the engine on and a little more aggressively wiggled the brake lock while pushing on the brake pedal. I felt the brake pedal give and heard a click. All good.

Thanks for encouraging me to try again.
Got the mower deck on and mulched some left over leaves.

Great! Often it is just something minor but not obvious. Sounds like that was the case here. Much better than the alternative!
