I was communicating with Patriot about buying some parts from him and we were having problems exchanging pics, so I started this thread. The parts circled in green are what I need, the pics above those are from my 7010 and show where the parts are missing. Essentially I need the main brake parts including the parking brake linkage, the band, and the link that connects the band to the transmission brake. (I know I'm butchering the names) I'm also looking for a fuel tank and the band clamps to hold the fuel tank in place.

first got to www.simplicitymfg.com and plug in your mfg# which should be 1690204. Pull up your manual and figure out what the part numbers are and what they are called. then go to eBay and start looking through the parts. In the meantime you might call Brenda at Sandy Lake Implement Co www.sandylakeimp.com and give her the part numbers and see what they would cost new. If the prices are not too stiff you may want to buy from her but at least you will know what they cost new and will not overpay on Ebay. You will love working with Brenda, she is an avid collector and restorer of Simplicity and Allis garden tractors.
Forgive me for cutting in patriot but Johnny, you need to first got to www.simplicitymfg.com and plug in your mfg# which should be 1690204. Pull up your manual and figure out what the part numbers are and what they are called. Then go to eBay and start looking through the parts (if Patriot can't help you). It is good to know that the changes to these tractors was gradual over the years so many parts are available from one model to the next.
