Well the steel shop finally got me what i needed.

The posts are 12"x12" and the steel beam is 10 inches tall and 5.25 wide..

The two longer 2x10's are getting removed. They where left overs from last year and they have a bad arch in them.

This first pic is how myself and my buddy started out.




here we are standing a post up.



Here we are bracing it up. and getting it in place.

It is so nice to see someone use a nice beefy column and a nice size piece of steel for a header instead of the usual 4x4's and 2x8's. :congrats:

Is the piece of steel going to end up JD Green? :sidelaugh

Did you and the buddy have a DP after all that work? Heck, I might go thru a two liter lifting all that material, your more a man than I for that :ROF
