I literally did fall in love with a Mexican girl. The rest is history. Can't say I enjoy living out in the Desert, but I am in still in Texas! I'm a career firefighter for the city and am halfway through my career. I really enjoy the do it yourself section of this forum and all the awesome stuff people are building. I've got a little 71 Custom 10xl I rescued from the back of a guys yard. He was a FIAT collector and I nearly broke my back lifting the tractor over the first Fiat's hood. With the help of my two sons and a little TLC we've got her running fairly descent. I'd consider myself fairly mechanically inclined although most of what I know is self taught and I'm no where near where I'd like to be when it comes to mechanicing and fabricating. Needless to say Old tractors are just awesome machines to me. The simpler and older the better! Just thought I'd follow Ken's advice and introduce myself a bit.
