What will this do, if anything? I got this from a guy and he said it's leaking oil and need new sump gasket. I found the breather tube was off.. Will any oil come out of the breather tube?

Possibly the breather is broke and you crankcase pressure instead of vacuum . Is any oil coming out the tube hole? the pressure could cause the sump gasket to leak

Oil vapor can come out, but more importantly...DIRT can get into both the TUBE and the housing..meaning the engine can eat dirt from the top and bottom, thats NOT good at all.
