Hey all, recieved this power washer for free. Hasn't run in years. I discovered a bad oil pressure sensor and it runs. The sticker right on the machine provides starting instructions. Allow machine to run 2 minutes before use is what it says. So I did exactly that. The head pump gasket split and now leaks. It appears to be from high pressure. Is the pump not circulating? The engine runs un-anhibited, so shouldnt it struggle under great pressure. Could it be just and old dry gasket, or a previous issue finally breaking? Any thoughts would be great thanks.

when the hand wand trigger is shut off.. there is a valve that opens & dumps the high pressure.. this valve will close when u pull the trigger again..

now ur prob is that valve didn't open & she blew the gasket.. u may not find a replacement valve for that pump.. that pump may b out dated by now..
