I just bought a old shreader rotary style with 2 different blades on it. I know they rotate but when I turn the PTO by hand I hit the side of the housing. Will this adjust when the tractor is hooked up to the pto and turns on? Thanks, :00000060:

I doubt it. It sounds like the wrong blades are on it, or the gearbox mount may be bent, or the deck may be bent/warped.

Have any photos?

I wouldn't think you should have two different blades on it. The balance would be out pretty bad if they are not the same.

It has the right blades on it. I just bought it today. It had one blade that the bolt had been stripped and the blade was on the ground. I bought another bolt and bolted it back on. When I try to turn the blades by hand it hits the side wall of the housing. Will this straighten out when the PTO is hooked up and the tractor running? Thanks,
