Hello, I just inherited an old grain drill. Don't know much about it, and only have one shabby picture to date. However, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this one (what kind, etc). My goal is to get this to work again and use it to plant a few acres of field each year with a variety of things from soybeans to sunflowers.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Depending on how bad it is...you might be better off painting it and putting it in the garden...and chasing down a working grain drill...:hide:

Agree with this. Keep in mind these are very low speed machines. I remember these being used and a slow walk was where they functioned well. From what I can see it's probably a hoe drill. It may or may not be set up to seed the crops you want to use it for.
