My neighbor just bought an old Ferguson 30 tractor w/a Ford sickle bar mower attached to mow his field behind my place. The only problem he's having with it is that when he puts the mower down, it goes all the way down. Can't stop it anywhere except full down or full up, and there's no way to stop it anywhere in between. Is that the way this tractor is designed to operate? Or is there an additional control that we just can't find?
