Thanks, guys! Icing on the cake and cool for sure! Now I'm glad I contacted him. Time to start looking for more file pic decals.

Mark, it's Beardslee Transmissions on old Willets Path in Hauppauge. They have a lot of these kinds of things. Bearings, seals, and I'm sure that they will have the flange bearings that I need. If you should ever need any bearings, seals, etc.. They make matching what you're trying to replace easy. Nice guys there too. Always willing to help.

Glad you were able to get that decal, Dave. It will look great once in place.

Just got back, Mark. Good trip.

Dave, here's another shot, but it is slightly out of focus. Maybe they can still use it.

Thanks, Al. My dash decal is different since my DB has a transmission vs. a disc drive. The main decal I needed was the "14 Inch Impeller" decal that I could see was in good condition in one of the previous pics you posted (below). I took a chance and sent your pic to the decal place. They said that they can make a decal from it in the email.

Just found this thread. WOW, what a great job here, @tracktortag!

I love the look of these old machines. It's amazing that you've been able to find some old parts for them.

Thanks, Mike. It's been a fun project bringing this old blower back to life. I liked the way it looked too which is why I had to save it. It's getting closer to the end at this point. Yes, it has been pretty amazing being able to find some of the parts that I have needed.
Its decals have long been NLA so being able to have two of them (so far) reproduced, and at a reasonable price is a big win. The next decal file pic that I'm going to look for to send to the decal place is the large one on the side of the drum.

I guess that you came across Tim doing his snow dance too (Pg.3, post #52) I'm still trying to figure out how he can make those moves.

We typically get snow that can be measured by the foot at least a few times a year. Those Sears DBs would have a field day with our EOD piles.

Now I know why you've been rooting for snow! I think Tim is just bored, LOL...

It's official here on Long Island...yesterday was the record, set in 1973 for the latest snowfall....I knew when I put the blower on the Broadmoor that I was scaring away the snow gods and nothing that Tim does with those magic booties, or whatever he calls them, is going to change it ( Now watch, I probably just put the wammy on it and we will get 2 feet) 😁

Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing how the beater bar works in drift, and EOD situations. I will likely use it just to try it out, then retreat to the Gravely with its big blower and more importantly, its cab. It will still come in handy though. I'll be able to fit it in the garage behind my wife's car so that I can clear enough deep snow to be able to back her car out so I can then get the blower Gravely out. As of now, or rather, when we are getting snow, I move her car way up and move the other Gravely with the plow behind it. There have been times when the snow depth was a little deep. The plow moved it, but... The blower Gravely won't fit in behind her car.

Now that you mention it again, I think I asked where you got bearings another time and you told me about them..they also have a location in Mineola, and in Long Island City in Queens...I have to remember them...thanks for reminding me 👍

I didn't know about the other locations. So they are a big outfit. They are a great place. They have had everything I have asked for. After everything else, I figured that they would likely have the flange bearings, but I wasn't 100% sure. Sure enough, they did. The counter man even brought out several lengths for me to choose from after he measured the I.D and O.D I needed with his micrometer.
