Hey guy's!!!

For those of you that don't know when I got my 1950 8N the PO had removed the oil canister and lines. So I bought a new oil canister and lines and all I need now is the 2 bolts size and pitch on that bolt the oil canister to the engine block. Seem like I have every other size I need but this one. The stupid ones I had in there I guess were just threading to the junk inside and not holding it in there.

:greendr:

Thanks as always

ARGHHHH I hate this thing right now. The bolt went in but I might have cross threaded them or it was already cross threaded. They didn't want to go in very easy. Oh well that's the least of my problems right now.

Check your parts book... 3/8-16 x 3/4. Coarse thread into cast not fine because it does not give enough "meat" to prevent the threads from stripping out of the more brittle cast iron.
