Anyone who has to deal with the cheesy twist-n-pull oil drain with the length of clear plastic hose that Sears includes with the Briggs v-twin (and maybe others) will be interested in this SIMPLE upgrade. Here is the old setup removed (sorry for the lousy pictures, I was in a hurry before dark):

The new drain setup consists of a hose connector #BRP796532 ($7.25) and oil drain hose #BRP796530 ($13.66). The connector screws in and replaces the old fitting, then the drain hose simply push fits on the connector, then you spring clamp it (included):

The yellow fitting on the end of the hose that you can't see because the picture washed out has a twist lock cap with a gasket that you twist a 1/4 turn to open and then the oil drains right out. The back side has a clip that snaps to a special mount on the new engine cowling. I found that it snapped in securely to the plastic edge of my old-style cowling just above and to the right of the starter. Here is the location (arrow):

Finally, here is the oil drain hose clipped to the engine cowl:

Pretty clever locating the drain hose end above the oil level so no way can you accidently lose your engine oil. :congrats:

You need to provide us with a source for the upgrade parts. :praying:

Yep having just done a oil change on my Briggs VTwin I'd like to know your product parts source link if you have one.
If your asking where I got them it was from my local Husqvarna (AYP) dealer. These are Briggs & Stratton part #s:

hose connector #BRP796532 ($7.25) and oil drain hose #BRP796530 ($13.66)

They arrived in just a couple of days and the prices were cheaper than Partstree.com and no shipping charge!
