Hello True, but for Six grand you can buy a Brand new Dandy Dump Dirt Trailer just like the one shown but it is self contained and need's no Hydraulic lines from the tractor. I had one, bought it new and sold it they work great and are super heavy duty in design. The seller makes no comment on the age of the 318 and the last one's built were in 1992 now being 21 Years ago, & the New re-built engine having just 3-hour's on it is nice, but Not adding up to the seller's sale package price even considering that it comes with a snowblower and mowing deck he is still very high in his package price to me. The Mowing deck shown is Old School with Sealed bearings that always's fail in time and the older deck's rust out, or get stress cracks in their decks' undeneath on many John Deere's. I have a 318 that I just Placed a New Onan P-218 engine in as well as did a complete restoration of the tractor, replacing it's engine, driveshaft coupler, all of the Hydraulic lines, Tire's front & rear, added wheel weights, new adjustable seat, complete re-paint and have a very nice restored 54" dirt dozer hydraulic blade as well as a model 30 Hydraulic tiller that is like new and a replacement Mowing deck of 48" width that came on my Tractor that has the newer greasable bearing spindle hubs and I am still all and Done at $2600.00 which would leave me with an additional $3400.00 to spend on a Hydraulic dump trailer of which a Typical Dandy Dump Trailer used would run around Fifteen Hundred to at most two grand in my area, of which is a Far Cry from six grand. I suspect at the Package price of this, he will have this for a while unless someone likes to simply Free spend their cash flow away, I just can't see what he figures is worth Six Grand here am I missing something ? here is my $2600.00 Package which includes the price I paid to buy the tractor I guess I got a Steal on my package when comparing apples to oranges here... Thing's are simply not adding up in my eyes, Just my 2 Cent's here. Hammerdown

Looks like he refabbed a 46 blower to fit. That thing would stick out a mile in front of the tractor compared to a 49. But the trailer sure is nice

Hi
I noticed that Too. I bet with it mounted The 318's Traction would be a serious issue with so much of the snowblower sticking out there in front of the tractor, I bet it would be like a see-saw in the raided position moving with it much. I surmise the guy is handy at building what he does not have at hand to use as the trailer and blower re-fab show to be well made, but I question their Safe use or durability. I would hate to Blow one of those out in the open Hydraulic line while lifting a super heavy load the Hydraulic Oil spray would bath you in Oil or possibly Burn you if it is hot from being worked hard. :Stop:It is Hard to beat a proven John Deere design as far as implements go, they engineered them right to fit the application that they are intended for and be safely operated. :fing32:

that's a NICE looking unit, like the front tires i want some but cant find any:(

i see from previous posts that my thinking of the blower not looking right was correct even though i have never seen one in person.

i agree $6K seems excessive unless its like an original 50HR even then it still seems high.
