You guys wont believe it but i just picked up a nice 7084 LB for $50.00 earlier this evening. It is by far the over all the most clean, better running LB i had picked up yet . I was so impressed i gave the guy what he asked for it. He went through the carb, installed a new plug, and has a decent blade on it. the paint is nice too. i will try to post a pic soon.

Man, what A coincidence. Here I am taking up what a great mower the 7084 is, and you pick one up! That is really cool.

Make it a keeper! The deck is magnesium!!!!

You have my 7084's long, lost twin. If you want, just send it down 'ol Texas way. My bricktop is lonely.

In all seriousness very clean survivor...

Nice find there! I want to find one of those myself. I have the 19" version, but the 21", I believe that same model, was the first mower I really ever ran when I was a little kid. Was my Grandpas. I put a LOT of hours in behind the handle of that mower! THe one he had didn't have the large plastic round air filter "box" with the lid, it just had the smaller round aluminium cup. Didn't have the keeper or screen either, just a peice of foam, literally, my grandpa would just cut a round out of some thick foam he had, and bingo! New air filter! lol

nice looking mower!!! I am growing more and more fond of these!
Ditto....I like Bricktops more and more each day. There's a guy selling a 7023 here locally who claims to have owned it since 1973. He's wanting $165 for it, and the paint's not near as good as the one in these pictures. Sounds like it's in good running order though. $165's too much, but it's getting harder and harder to resist!
