newbie here

just picked up a CC 7254 that had an engine fire---so it looks like I am going to be needing some advice, pics and maybe even some consolations at times. I am generally mechanically inclined but I have come to learn that others might have already done something and that makes life a lot easier.

Up to now I have been working with a JD445 but wanted the advantage of a rear PTO so when I came across this CC I jumped on it.

I am NOT a farmer by any means but would like to be able to do such things as moving soil, gravel or maybe haul some trees out of my lot for firewood etc..

Any input, comments, advice or even warnings will be welcome-----
