I have a jd 316 with a homemade loader on it running off the tractors hydraulic system and I don't have the power I want to the loader. I want to put another hydraulic system on it for just the loader unless I can do something to the transmission to produce the power I need and want. If there isn't any thing I can do to the transmission what kind of pump as far as gallons per minutes should I go with to get the power I need? I'd like to be able to pick up 500 or so lbs.
